On behalf of the Marion Fire Department and the City of Marion, I would like to thank you for the food and the use of your parking lot during the fire at 1120 7th Avenue on Saturday, February 2, 2002. The food was delicious. Believe me, there is nothing more welcome to a tired firefighter than good food, and we all appreciated your generosity. The use of this parking lot enabled our incident command post, firefighter staging area, and firefighter rehabilitation center to be conveniently located near the scene of the fire. I realize that our presence in your parking lot and the limited mobility of vehicular traffic in the downtown area on Saturday may have had an adverse impact on your business for that day, and for that I sincerely apologize.

As we have seen many times, an event of this magnitude often brings out the best in people and businesses within the community. I just wanted you to know how much we at the Fire Department appreciated your cooperation. Thank you

Dear John, Linda, and Dennis,

On behalf of the entire production, thank you for your participation in the making of the feature motion picture “TWELVE THIRTY”. Your service and flexibility was beyond compare, and the fare was amazing as well. It could not have been done without your time and generosity.

It will take many months to complete post-production and then we will begin marketing and distributing the film. We believe the film will be in distribution by early next year. We hope to have a screening in Cedar Rapids around that same time and give you a chance to see and enjoy the film you had such an important hand in.
